I plan to then use my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic only for blood pressure and body composition once a day, and maybe also for workouts, depending on the Ring's features (or their lack of).

Oura started going downhill when the founder engineers sold the company to US VC vultures. Subscription model, bad updates, just more marketing, less cool features. Somebody will buy off the remaining Oura user base in a few years. Oura, it was nice knowing you.

Is anyone actually excited for the galaxy ring? im just curious. I might get it if the price isn't too high/we get a discount on black friday or something but defientelly not seing myself paying any more than what i would for a smartwatch.

I like this ring but it cost as much as a flagship phone in my country and once you buy this ring. All the features are available unlike certain brand that lock certain feature and need to subscription to unlock it 🙄
