I also forgot Russia with its 144m population which was a huge win for Huawei, as operating in this country is very profitable for the company.
The thing is.. Huawei and ZTE both have won the 5.5G race just like the 5G in 2019.. in which will make China easily win the 6G race in the next 5 years.
I don't really see a bright future for Ericsson and especially Nokia, as these companies won contracts with the help from U.S. gov by sanctioning Chinese companies. Imagine no sanctions, you'd see Huawei EVERYWHERE!

Some in Africa and more than half of Asia countries are either using Huawei or ZTE networks and that includes (besides China) the whole Arabian gulf region, Iran, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia..
Ericsson and Nokia networks are mainly used in North America, Europe and a few countries in Asia like in India and also partly in China.

4G was already enough for general use, if the coverage is good. It's fast enough for 4K streaming. Don't know why companies are racing for higher and higher G, radiation is not a friendly thing for living beings. We don't need to download the data from satellites, so why

They have 90% of 5G coverage with average around 300mbps-400mbps.

Whoa, that's really sad. Never seen such a damning discrepency between upload and download speeds. I've seen 10 to 1 as the worst case scenario, but here we have 31 to 1.
