Though I've not seen any reviewers complain a... moreMy biggest problem with the Sony Xperia 5 V is that it lacks the variable telephoto of the Sony Xperia 1 V, and doesn't even make up for it with a regular, fixed focal length one. It's just poof, gone, as if the 5 IV never had a fixed focal length telephoto, and as if the 5 III didn't have the same variable telephoto as the Sony Xperia 1 III. It's as if Sony wants to downgrade the 5 tier completely while still charging £1,200. Other problems include the lack of OS and security updates, the flat back and frame, the 21:9 aspect ratio, the huge bezels on the top and bottom that make the phone even taller and even more unwieldy to handle, and the software having terrible capture speeds. If Sony upped their game, IMO, I would love to at least try out their phones, and probably get one. As it stands, though, the 5 V is not a small version of the 1 V, and both phones have shared problems separate from the 5 V's unique set of problems. Until that happens, I'll stay with Google Pixels.
No.
The smaller size was one of the main selling points of the 9 and the 10. Now this is just another phablet pretending to be the “ultimate flagship” while not being good enough for that title, like so many others in this vastly oversaturated market.
justasmile, 24 Mar 2024You are funny. This is overpriced, period.Price is imo the only negative part, though tbf I'm willing to pay it so idc too much

And the camera isn't something that matters too much imo, the zenfone and even the ROG phone usually does very well in blind tests, better than ppl would think.

Also, sounds poem the phone you're after is the xperia 5 V lol, checks all your boxes
Altezza, 24 Mar 2024No periscope, no ultra. With that price, the z60 ultra is a better deal.Phone with 60Hz flickering on screen according to notebookcheck?
Phone that locks games at 60fps while other run same games at 90/120?
Phone that earns patches every 3-4 onths?
Are they going to sell this phone if in the US? It's a very intriguing device, especially if it plays nice with their laptops.
And there is no mention of it's "cameras" in the comparison. Ynw
The reason I wouldn't purchase it is because Asus phones aren't sold in my country, no one makes an effort to import them and I'm sure no one will import this one, so I don't care. I have never had an Asus phone and definitely wouldn't get this one at that price.

The moment I saw the newest ROG Phone I knew the Zenfone 11 would be the exact same thing. Looks like I was right

At least zenfone ultra does not smell like burnt plastic
So buy this phone if you want headphone jack and stop crying in Samsung articles.

Yes the phone released way back on last summer, but the lack of choices is a sign of Zenfone's downfall.
Price too high.
