•Go for vibrant colours rather than just Black, White and Olive Green. Have 5 different colours, with the other two colours being different every year. The Purple OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition looks really nice, as does the regular blue version of that phone, as well as the OnePlus 11R's Red Genshin Impact Edition. Those are excellent colours to copy.

I can confirm they are looking to change the camera design. They sent a survey to the community last year to propose ideas of a new back design and materials.
Certainly OP 10 , 11 and 12 back design is hideous and with structural flaws, the community complained and now they are hearing what needs to be changed.
