It wasn't about alternate music apps, it was about alternate subscription services, like subscription purchased on website (outside of apple's influence) which are cheaper than getting it through apple.

Apple should be ashamed of itself though. It's appalling how it tries to make people pay more money by banning companies from fully advertising their music services. I thought people should be given the choice about what they listen too.

Again naive who trying to use comprimed format outside headphones.. 🤷♂️
mp3 started at 128kbps I remember then 192 and some had 300 and over.. but they tried to save the space because whe had 1GB SD cards :)

THen it is their fault NOT to use native quality when using elsewhere ..

It doesn't matter if EU is bad at some other things .. But it is good in other things.. If they have alibi and they know some business doing bad practices and they know 100% they they will win they will go ahead ..
