1. Owned by chinese company
2. Designed in china (Meizu)
3. Made in... moreYour conclusion could be applied to literally every product...
AFAIK, the company was founded in Sweden and appears to be Swedish. What goes behind the scenes, well that's a separate story.

So far so great. Even if its rebranded Meizu still its good to see smartphone market growing.
240z, 04 Mar 2024weird seeing Polestar's logo in a phone as I always think it looks like NATO's logoBoth were inspired by the North Star compass.
Zendroid, 04 Mar 2024Nobody will trust a company that recently was declared bankruptcy. Stop trying to be a know-it-all when you cant even google b4 commenting. Polestar changed ownership, not bankrupt.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2024Polestar is swedish.
Being owned by chinese does not make it chinese.
It is still chinese..
1. Owned by chinese company
2. Designed in china (Meizu)
3. Made in china.
To make it simple, it is basically just another chinese product and slapped with western brand.
Conclusion:
Product with western brand, doesn't make it a western product.

This directly conflicts with what Wikipedia says: "Polestar Automotive Holding UK PLC is a Swedish automotive manufacturer that produces electric vehicles under the Polestar brand"
240z, 04 Mar 2024weird seeing Polestar's logo in a phone as I always think it looks like NATO's logoSo, that’s where they got the idea from; lol.
Too many useless phones. We have Samsung and Apple and some inferior ones. No others needed.
LOL! 😂 I knew immediately that it was a Meizu phone.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2024Polestar is swedish. Being owned by chinese does not make it chinese. But same can be said to other brands that are owned by America or European country but have all there factories and workers in China. So none of these brands are either American or European then ?
Zendroid, 04 Mar 2024Nobody will trust a company that recently was declared bankruptcy. who was declared bankruptcy? Polestar? or Meizu?
I know Meizu has left the smartphone market, but I know no news of bankruptcy about Polestar.
When we gonna see the Toyota phone? And the Volskwagen and Audi phones? Genuinely, I wouldn't be surprised if that would happen. Could become a trend; you have a Mercedes? Then you also need to have the Mercedes smartphone. Of course, bought separately at just $1899 😂
