Fire Smeller, 23 Feb 2024Planning on get two too,if only the price in my home country is not beyond expensive...my Fit ... moreAfter using mine from the last 24 hours, I feel it's a good upgrade from Fit2. As a standlone product, it really is 3/5 and Redmi Band Pro OR Redmi Watch 3 Active are better. The UI on this is slick and smooth but feature wise, it's as basic as it can get. Samsung could've done much better but this is just for folks with basic requirements and a Samsung phone. The launch price of ₹4,999/- is off by at least 1k.

For me, software experience matters a lot as a device may have the latest and greatest hardware specs, software experience may make it totally useless OR frustrating. I bought my Huwaei Band in 2021 and it has served me very well. Ditto for Xiaomi Band HRX. Both haven't died on me. A low cost band OR smartwatch from other brands died within 6 months and the company made the after sales an experience I would like to forget. I rather pay a premium to a reputed brand (not much, as per my pocket and expectations) and then not worry for years. I do think Samsung could've included more features to compete but they are riding their brand reputation for now.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2024I mean yes, at a higher price the experience does get better in some way but I don't see ... moreit's the same here in Romania , got a HK95 model with AMOLED screen, 410x502 pixel resolution, microphone/speaker call functionality on it for 40$ , software identical to all the by-the-pound ones with no real difference from the way more expensive "branded" models like huawei / samsung / etc.
The build quality on it was flawless , vibrant & bright screen, clear audio, the works.
If they manage to make the no-name copies for that cheap and that quality , getting inferior products from established brands seems like insanity .
As for India, they constantly review new models every day on their youtube channels showing models after models for all the budgets possible.
This release from Samsung was a disappointment for me because of it's limited customization options, being stuck with the default 100 watchfaces available in the app only , no support for Samsung Watchface Editor studio and it really seems like an ultra budget device with the low res display and no speaker/mic for calls.

I'm cur... moreI mean yes, at a higher price the experience does get better in some way but I don't see why someone would spend like twice or thrice the amount, for a slightly more refined software experience. I have a smartwatch it cost me about just $50 but it's got led display and calling. I don't use a lot many health tracking features so it's fine to me

I'm currently using Huawei Band 6 and it was similarly priced but has worked to date like a charm. Also, have a Galaxy Watch4 Bluetooth but the battery life is a hassle. But to be honest, one can get a good experience by paying around 10k OR less otherwise, adjust with some con or the other. I hope Fit3 address my concerns with Huawei Band 6 and I will be all set!
