Pumpino, 20 Feb 2024There needs to be an incentive for people to buy from Nothing. If the price isn't great, ... moreThe lack of hardware and software support makes most Chinese brands a no-buy in Europe beside lower end of the market.

Also, after a certain price point you get into Apple/Samsung territory.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is a safer bet. No shade to MediaTek.

oslikoff, 19 Feb 2024Pei is too greedy to make a flagship killer for less... It stays 'nothing'Pei left because OP stopped being exactly that. Nowadays, making a flagship killer for a new company is impossible, having to compete with IQOO 12 , Redmi K70 series and so on. First of all, as a brand new company, they can't get same prices as Oppo or Xiaomi or really any major player. We can discuss this but from business standpoint it's impossible. Also, flagship killer phone nowadays is up to 800$ . Look at the flagship prices. 1400-1500$.. also historically flagship killers like one plus or xiaomi in early days always had a worse camera and displays compared to true flagships. Today, everyone cry about that. Even if you spec everything else the same, people wouldn't care.

PrdniPaUhvati, 19 Feb 2024Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2I think that chip was made specifically for the Redmi note 12 turbo/Poco F5 and Realme GT Neo5 SE. As we have not seen it in anywhere other then these. Not eve on on tablets. Like for example when Poco F3 come with SD870 and that was made in a lot of devices.

Feels like 7+ gen 2 is limited edition or something as special case. It's soon year old chip and we have not seen it used anywhere

Weighing on fast and new chip is only way Chinese manufacturers stay in competition . No innovation from their end ☹️
