Buying 4G under $100 is ok but above that, not ok if user plans to use the same phone for at least 3 to 5 year in future.

Specs are good but buying $100 plus phone without 5G is not recomended anymore in year 2024 as 5G phones can be found and purchased above this price point.

One of the largest smartphone markets in the world, there are many brands here and it is also very competitive. They collaborate with big YouTubers so people know about it.

These extremely cheap stuff are cheaper in Africa than other phones that would be slightly more expensive in most other places but are a lot more expensive there. Transsion mostly sells in places that have a distinct lack of price competitive offerings. This makes sense in Africa and quite some of the Middle East, where they sell most of their units in. It doesn't make sense in India when the market is hyper-competitive to the point that price wars are a big thing and you get special units designed specifically for the Indian market so that they offer even better bang for your buck.

Why do they think people like this dynamic island on the screen that they make it ?
Apple does it and dont give choice for there customers so they are force to get it.
I dont think any apple user buy the iphone cause it have that dynamic island or large notch.

Never understand who buys this type of phone. Surely spending a bit more (like on the Poco M5 or note 13) can get you a much better experience for your money

For reference, Hot 30i launched at 9499 with 8/128GB and also had this „special launch price“ of 8999
