Yes, it's overpriced, but it's still, at the end of the day, better than the Quest 3, if money is no object to you.

It's been more than 10 years from the Oculus Rift being launched, and still, in 2024, the adoption rate remains slow for a reason.

He not wrong you know. I'm definitely not a Facebook fan but the Quest is definitely better and has way more content. You'll get much more use out of the Quest, it will be more comfortable to use and be significantly cheaper.
The smart money is on the Quest

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2024For 500 buck you only get the screen, just 1 screen not the pair neede to make vr headsetIt takes like 1700 bucks to make the vision pro and 800 bucks is only that protective case glass. So both of the screens are probably cheaper then the Quest 3 is.
But as it's pretty much impossible to repair then it does not really matter how much the inner hardware cost. Cause you need to replace a lot of things if you want to repair the inner hardware.
I dont care what is better as it's not for me. For me this device is just as dumb as the decade ago was 3D TV as there are not enough content and it takes forever to make content. For 3D TV there are still not a lot of 3D movies or TV shows. Well i dont know if there even are tv shows for 3D. And even that content you needed these 3D glasses to watch
