"Apple is worried that the Vision Pro raises certain privacy concerns, namely that Apple believes it is easier to capture video and images discreetly with a Vision Pro. Much more so than with a smartphone."

If I understand this correctly, it is easy to see a phone that is recording you, however it isn't apparent with Vision Pro especially in future model which should be smaller that you are being recorded.

    DNA 2.0
It is AFTER that image is taken ie during playback, is where the image is altered and I must say very well done with regards to Facials.

I take on board there may be applications that remove blurring, however the number plate has been totally changed.

    Kudos
The facial image has been ALTERED, subtle but enough. Image 1 looks like imo Jessica Alba, the final image Deep Natural Anonymisation 2.0 diverges away from the original so less like JA

The fact that Apple is buying this startup company (petty cash jar) shows it is well aware of its legal responsibility

These AI "anonymizers" are trained by having two AIs fighting each other. One that tries to anonymize and the other trying to deanonymize the data which shows that this system is never safe. If you anonymize an image today it will be easy for an AI to deanonymize it a few weeks/months later so you'd need to update the image regularly with the newest version and delete all old copies to be safe which won't happen.
Btw there are already multiple AI algorithms that can deblur shockingly well.
PS: When Google and Apple drive around to make Street View they also scan every wi-fi network and save its location to their database so they can track users by their proximity to those networks even if location is turned off on the phone, even if you rip out the GPS module.

Place don't wear this outside. You'd be the obnoxious person in public. And this needs to be banned for drivers.

When companies say : protect user data/security

Translation: we are monopolizing and have back doors of all this data for OURSELVES and keep regular folks away from it because it's our precious money maker that we are gonna sell later

Like always, creating "solutions" for issues they themselves create 😐.
