notafanboy, 04 Feb 20244k60 as wellMy bad then, I was just excited by the 4k capabilities and didn't read further into it. Vivo's 1080p videos were 90% of Samsung's experience, I'm pretty sure 4k would mean the selfie videos are at the very least on par.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2024All specs same, a 14“ 16:10 laptop display is more expensive than a 15.6“ 16:9. So no, bigger ... moreYou bringing in the laptop market is cheating man that market is the most confusing one I've ever seen. I'd rather sell vegetables in China than go sell laptops.

But anyways, can you provide examples of which 2 laptops you are talking about? I'd like to see which bozo would make a 14" laptop more expensive. Oh and btw, a 16:10 screen has a higher resolution vertically than a 16:9 screen. For example, a 16:9 FHD screen is 1920x1080 and a 16:10 FHD screen (if you can call it that) is 1920x1200. So my point still stands, big number hard to make. I'm not saying you're dumb, just thought that you might've found it hard to understand. I mean I get lost trying to do basic multiplication.

It seems Like The GSM Teams is now Focusing On midrange to base flagships, Rather Than ultra-flagships such As the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Or Oppo Find X7 Ultra.
It was especially an upgrade, because These Midrangers are more likely to be Bought By Average Joes.
But it has some downside: Late Reviews, Which can Reduce the credibility of GSMArena and Force Users To Seek Another site (Which Can Be Unreliable).

Don&... moreYeah, midrangers have been using main sensors around this size for a while. This is the same sensor as on the Redmi k70 and k70 pro but Vivo seems to be the first to use it on a global phone. It's a good value sensor. Don't think there's any flagships using smaller sensors than this though. The same size yes but can't think of any with smaller ones

Darth Caesium, 04 Feb 2024How does that work? Genuinely curious.>Fewer 16:10 panels can be made from the same piece of mother glass because of the increased height of the panels. This inefficient yield translates to a lower sales revenue for panel manufacturers. One example of this is 13.3 inch panels. Up to 24 such panels, with an aspect ratio of 16:9, can be cut from a single sheet of Gen 5 glass – an 88% yield, but the same mother glass can only produce 20 panels (a 77% yield) if the aspect ratio is changed to 16:10.

                          https://www.trendforce.com/presscenter/news/20191104-10196.html

Display panels are cut from a very big „mother glass“. Those are optimized for the 16:9 aspect ratio that is standard across TVs, monitors and laptops. If a laptop manufacturer wants a 16:10 display, the display manufacturer will produce less 16:10 displays from the same size glass. The yield is lower because those mother glasses have the exact measurements to get as many 16:9 panels out of them as possible.

Good phone. This is what a midranger should look like. Selfie is definitely better than most flagships as well, since a lot of them tend to cheap out on it.

7G3 looks good for midranges. Hope the phone gets reviewed here with the full set of benchmarks. And hopefully it'll find its way to more brands and models.
