I have a z flip 5 and it sits on my desk the battery and charging speeds are a joke. I use my s24+. Your not factoring in screens size and brightness as well as an outside screen that is now larger. Looks pretty but pointless. Needs a 4300 mah or bigger for a full day use and 45 watt charging. Trust me.

Unless it has a 4300mah battery and 45 watt charging im out this year. If motos basic razr can sport those specs at $699 before trade offers why would anyone want it. Samsung is resting on brand a bit too much lately and frankly im sick of it. Do something. Further make the phone wider not taller it makes one handed use hard.

Or maybe have a dynamic refresh rate on the external screen instead of having it locked at 120hz and sucking battery for no reason...

I don't understand why they couldn't add it wirelessly? It can easily be enabled via update

potato4k, 31 Jan 2024Keyword, former, meaning they were probably using the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen. We are at 6th gen ... moreBut when the only improvement Samsung made with the Z Fold 5 was giving a flat closing mechanism, it's not hard to see why most people aren't still into foldable phones. Also, I see those who left the Z Fold line from the 4th and the current 5th generation model.

If the Z Flip6's screen gets the entire half back covered and a telephoto camera gets added, that would be an update worth it

I love that there are options for flip phones. At first I Wasn't interested, but then the postures is what made me rethink of the idea. Yes the battery isn't as great but hopefully better power efficient chips can solve this.

I like the Razr bc it feels less sharp in the hand. More comfortable to have it in the palm without feeling like the sides digging in. Ouch.

As long as the average charging speeds are usual 5W or 10W its a garbage and no charger in the box.
Other competitors gives everythig even a charger plus cable, case, screen protector in some brands even an unlimited screen replacements.
Samsung were second to make a foldable phone but with offered specs compared to prices they are worst company to buy a foldable phone.

Still not as big as Vivo X Flip or Oppo Find N3 Flip, but it's a much needed improvement over the current Z Flip phones. Oh btw Samsung, please put both wired and wireless DeX in the next Z Flip6. Motorola has no problem giving Ready For in RAZR since 2022.

That long screen aspect ratio is rather pointless. It seems like they're fishing for a big diagonal size without actually providing any screen real estate.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2024why does the flip 5 have such an unsymmetrical cover display? its just uglyI feel if it was in the middle it would be more awkward. Say your sliding your finger on the screen. A camera bump in the middle interrupts the swiping motion.

Why can't they put 2x2790. The phone is small enough for a little more thick.
