Would have 100% bought this if it came out in the later half of 2023 like its competitors. Not the slightest chance now until they priced it max 1000€. In 6 months they will pull this from every single store in anticipation of V3 like they did with the Vs, just that in europe they will not provide the V3 until again 6 months too late. What a bunch of clowns, despite having some rock solid hardware

Tonberry, 28 Jan 2024I'd absolutely love a foldable phone, but they're still extremely expensive. It'... moreYou could go for last year's foldable. There are new fold4's on ebay with factory warranty and everything for less than half of the new price. I'd assume it's gonna be the same for fold5 and oneplus open and etc when the new ones drop.
There should have been an extra answer option: no, it came too late/bought a different foldable already.
It seems like an impressive device for sure on paper, but... For this price, buying a honor is... I don't know, personally I wouldn't. But if we forgo that (and the potential political aspect of buying chinese brands), there's always the fact that it came so, so late compared to everything else of its generation that probably most folks who were in the market for a device in this price bracket and category already bought one.
too pricey, questionable brand

When will there be a weekly poll about the Poco X6 series? The week that it was launched, there was a crap poll about some niche ASUS gaming phone. 😒
No. I don't trust them .
Software is not on par with my fold. Will stick to Sammy for now, they seem to be superior in software even the phone is heavier, I don't mind the thickness
No I don't want a foldable.
No, I don't want to buy a $2k phone.
No, I don't want a "shiny new thing", manufacturer and exact product doesn't matter here.
But you be you.
If it would cost 1000€, I would buy it tomorrow.
But 2000€ for a device of smaller brand that brings no promises, with an older hardwares and questionable support...it is just too much.
OnePlus open sis better device for less money, and Samsung is often on sale for half of that price, so even if it's not better device (and maybe it is), it is a best buy
Nop, no folds for me. Too big, bulky and expensive and i'd not get anything out of it vs a regular smartphone because i don't game or watch movies in my devices so. The only thing it could compel me to get a foldable was if they put huge batteries like 6000, 7000mAh to get crazy battery time but they don't so...
Fold phones are big, heavy, bulky and way too expensive for me to ever get one. Plus I am not buying any brand not sold officially in the US missing half if not more of the cell network bands so it cannot even function as its main purpose, a phone.
Besides thickness, i don't think it has an upgrade for my Fold 4 but more like a waste of money.
I'll wait for Fold 6 or 7 depending of thickness
Can't buy it as it's not available in the US, though I wouldn't buy it anyway if it were available.
I'd absolutely love a foldable phone, but they're still extremely expensive. It's been many years since they first appeared, and there are still no decently priced foldable midrangers.
in addition to being the lightest and thinnest among the available, other foldable imports from China do not receive notifications (as in the case of HyperOS but I believe also Vivo); so apart from Samsung, Open and Pixel Fold, this Honor is a must purchase for those who love the genre.
