Kylie , 28 Jan 2024Praying that it only has 147mm or less in height, 70mm or less in width, and 256GB storage. 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9 mm
Kylie , 28 Jan 2024Praying that it only has 147mm or less in height, 70mm or less in width, and 256GB storage. Wishful thinking. Would be nice. But I doubt very much. For 256gb you need to pay pro money. 🥲

I know several people with Pixels and no one ever complains about that IRL.
Gug555, 25 Jan 202427W🧐😂😂😂 "veryx fast" like iphone)) now 180$ phone have 67w67W and trash software.
I just wish it would be a bit slimmer. The Pixel 6a was the perfect size, but the Pixel 7a is a bit too wide. Not too wide to carry, but wide enough to be annoying.

Laggy, stuttery and not how "stock, clean android" should be.
GeeX, 26 Jan 2024Wish it comes with 120Hz Display and compact design. I'm sure it will be a little smaller than the Pixel 8. And the 7a had 90Hz, so that seems like a good bet for the 8a, unless they do upgrade it to match the base Pixel 8's 120Hz.

" There are issues with the pixel 7 where the sensor works great after a fresh retrain, then after a few hours, the hit rate goes way down to like 10% success."
" Fingerprint sensor is terrible on the 7, they need to bring back the back sensors exclusively. It made more sense ergonomically and worked 100% of the time! "
And there is more and more...
Same problems since 6's series.
I don't mind a toned down Tensor G3 if it means less heat and better battery life. The performance difference will probably be negligible.

People complain about slow chargin while it is one of the reason batteries stay better longer. Combine that with long support and there is a phone for you for the next five years.
Also no one mentioned security. Using Googles phones makes you less vulnerable against cyber threats. Because you dont use any third party manufacturers apps or OS. So that is point to be considered when praising let's say phones from Chinese manufacturer.
