I think most people do not realise that they have a qualcomm GPU in their Android phones that will probably NEVER be patched. Apple has patched their devices already. They article is abit misleading though.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2024There was even a flaw on Apple devices where a simple text can brick the device. And the notification snooping of govt agencies which Apple didn't disclose while talking about muh privacy all the time. Apple also said a gag order was the reason for not disclosing it. What a sick joke of a company.

tetqi, 18 Jan 2024Everything is exposed unless.... I go back to my farm and live normal life. No security risk :,What about those guests who were not invited to your firm.
Someone will keep stalking you and your firm from a safe distance, until they......
Securing your firm would not be possible in this era all alone.

How Ironical that the company that boasts it's excellent security falls for that flaw.

Some people really think that Apple is a cult, and don't realise that a lot of people actually switch between Android and iOS. They claim Apple fans are in a little bubble, but they're already on one of their own with their limited preconceptions

I know more people with android devices earning more than £100k a year than i do apple users (non, i dont know any earning that much) and i guess we're forgetting people who own samsung devices and £1000+ chinese flagships or the complete chinese market.

Ignorance is bliss i guess, or you have some superiority complex by owning an apple device... That or you wrote this on your galaxy a54 for "banter".

[deleted post]Lol ofc iOS is more secure than Android. The difference is that hackers don't target Android devices as much because they don't care about personal data of someone with sub 100 USD chinese phone - what would they steal from them, a 5 USD aliexpress coupon?

Of course AMD is impacted by this, and nVidia isn't.
