As you said though, Xiaomi hasn't had great battery results lately, even with the MediaTek chips.

But battery may be better, Xiaomi is doing really poor optimization lately. However, the Snapdragon 7s is really inefficient, so i guess both will have mediocre battery life.

It will be interesting to compare the Realme 12 series to the Redmi Note 13 series in terms of camera performance. I suspect Realme will win. However, Realme is hopeless when it comes to releasing updates, unless you live in India.
Been rocking Realme 7 pro for almost 3 years now So far so Good planning to get the Vanilla Realme 12 so I'll just wait
That is dope design. Something that I really wanted to see coming from Realms in a long time. It if have Snapdragon processor then it will be more than great
2 better camera lens (wide & ultra wide) are enough with good optimization between Camera app + Sensor & better ISP on both Photos and Videos.

Realme needs to stop spamming these phone releases, and take care of their software update and bootloader unlock mess.
Just wait 4 month they will launch realme 13 pro and then another 4 month there are will be realme 14 pro.
