I was thinking buying Sony Xperia 1 V but update promise is just so bad(2 years of android updates and 3 years of security updates).
3 years of android updates and 4 years of security updates should be mininum for a smartphone.
Google could force oems for that if they want to use Play store etc.

When Sony have like stock android on there phones and also promise more then 2 years of updates
Just got andriod 13 on my moto phone, I don't think A14 is that different so I wont care anymore.

Got A13 in January last year too, seems to be a consistent thing, atleast in the UK. Shame it isn't anything huge or new. Also hoping it won't create any large bugs.
Sony needs to make its own android skin or at least it's own device app suit, stock android is getting even more bare bones and most new features are pixel exclusive
