Before launching new products they should fix the previous ones, until nowadays they have no support for windows and even using a Mac, it never worked as they announce....The worst expense I have done in my life..

The smartphone market is well past 10 years old with incremental improvements and stagnant sales.
It's time for something new but this technology isn't fully fleshed out with enough players yet.....

Google glass failed to impress dont know asingle person who used them and been happy with them.
This even with better software or specs does not looks far more impressive to the audience than an original google glass which failed. But lets see.

If X real can do the same for glasses then Anonymous is right and these should be wireless

Edward Coventry, 08 Jan 2024No matter how much you pay wireless will need a battery. Better to be small and lightIt's the same story with wireless earbuds, as you still have to charge it when the battery has run out of juice. That's why wired headphones and headphone jack always remain relevant and never go outdated.

It has to be connected to phone via wire.

When we(consumers) can get actual AR glasses(or even just smart glasses with a screen) which could be used with connecting to phone wirelessly?

Meta has Ray Ban glasses but there is no screen, only camera for streaming to instagram, taking photos and videos and also for using multimodal Ai(at least it is much better buy than that Humane AI Pin). Rumors say that we will have to wait for late 2025 before there is Meta smart glasses with a screen and they are going to show late 2024 their vision for true AR glasses but then say that we have to wait for 2-4 years before there will be real product which we can buy(for cheap)which will be almost as good as that in some areas and better in some.

Qualcomm has launched Ar1 gen 1 but there were nothing and now latest is Ar2 gen 1 and will see if we can get something based on that chipset in 2024.

I have no issue paying premium(Like 1000-3000 dollars) for having latest tech possible but for glasses like smart/AR glasses there are no good options.

At least VR is moving forward with Meta Quest 3(and upcoming Meta Quest 3 Lite later this year) and Apple Vision Pro.
