Very interesting post, looking for loud speaker smart phone as i am driving, always disappointed about speakers.
Why cant we see the loudness test results in a table form??
How do i find the loudest phone without relying on this article in real time
We have to manually select every individual phone in the new UI
Would be interesting to see the better sounding smartphones acording to Dynamic Range of their speakers.
i was taken in by the hope to see headphone output levels, alas the article falls short on being comprehensive enough to cover this most important of aspects. i am writing this in regard to a 3.5mm output as being averse to the lower quality levels and increased battery consumption (along with their consuming the bluetooth to an extent that other uses of it are severly impaired) of wireless i have and never will try them and am therefore unaware as to whether they come with built in level increasers or decreasers which would have a significant effect on your ability to write a thorough article about headphone output.
Way back in 2019 when audio was tested using 3.5mm jack for its actual output quality and clarity, this would've been my highly anticipated article.
Today, all it offers is some comment on loudspeakers which are not needed.
LG Quad DAC phones all the way, till now!
Will you be reviewing the Oukitel WP33 WHEN it is released? It's supposed to have a 136 decibel speaker on it with a 22,000 MAH battery.

Jeffrey Kyle JACKSON, 31 Dec 2023Mobile phones needs, super slim & high tech, ultra lightweight Subwoofer Speaker. Current ... moreI think phones should go for better woofers which target the bass region better and also the mid range better rather than subwoofers. Sub bass is fun but it won't be that nice coming from such a small speaker. A cleaner and well produced frequency response as a whole would be far better to have than a slightly sub bassy phone.
Mobile phones needs, super slim & high tech, ultra lightweight Subwoofer Speaker. Current Subwoofer Speaker Technology must change on Mobile Phones. We have to find different technology to generate deep bass sounds from ultra mini speakers & very low energy consumption. Other frequencies are okay on phones. But, still there is no Low Level Bass Frequencies. I will do my best, in my home lab. The only way, I will use, phones body, only add 0.3 mm. thickness. I must find Useful Material on Phone Bezels & Back Cover. Like Processed Bamboo or stg like.
We need bass and clarity test. I'm not always wearing headphones at home or looking for Bluetooth speakers. Good phone speakers exist, it's just hard to know which phones have them.

Ain't no way the rog phone 7 ultra didn't make it
Who cares!?
Where is Poco F4 GT?
asus rog phone.
rosesarerosie, 30 Dec 2023At least Motorola is first at something..🤭Motorola speakers are on another level. I played a video on an edge 40 once and the sounds felt so loud and clear on like 70% volume. It's definitely the best speakers I've heard on a phone
Load but without bass isn't good either.
So the author says loudness is not most important and they do test for overall quality but we have to search individual reviews for those results ? Update post with the best sounding phones please !
