the Nothing Phone 2 is super expensive where I am, it's more expensive than a Oneplus 11, I think that's just a no brainer for most people. If Nothing phones were 100 dollars cheaper they'd have been better for me, but not right now.

Except camera, it's top end phone. There is no difference between snapdragon 8 gen 2/8+ gen 1. I hope Nothing Phone 3 works on camera side with similar price tag of 600-800 USD with snapdragon 8 gen 2.
S23U is available at 750-850 USD at many places since last six months. Steal deal at that price. Don't need to buy at 1199.

I am fine with underperforming chip compared to snapdragon counterparts, but it should not throttle, also modem looks weak. Pixel 9/10 needs to focus on that. Rest top notch as well.

Also, the Nothing Phone 2 is priced through the roof. I don't know why anyone would choose it.

Realme GT 5 Pro sometimes takes better picture. One Plus needs to work on that in next one month for global launch.

Nothing Phone 2 has only one complaint from my side now. Abysmal camera even at killer price tag of close to 500USD for 512GB. Rest perfectly fine. It's shaping up to be next OnePlus. But it has to step up it's game as 2024 will be game of camera output, so Nothing should step up their game of software post-processing. Rest is top notch. Snapdragon 8 gen 2 with little better camera output is fine at 600-700USD for 512GB. They can use OV50H/IMX 766/Lyt 808 for their next phone. They should not diversify their products which are they doing right now with Dimensity. It won't work.

130mm imx858 If it wasn't for the smaller ultrawide, this would be perfect, though I understand why they used a smaller sensor.
EDIT: Except for the part where the main sensor is behind a lens with a 23mm equivalent focal length and not 25mm. That would also necessitate a 75mm lens and a 150mm lens for the two periscope-style telephotos.
