Digitally, 27 Dec 2023I agree to the criticism of Camera. Camera was definately a weak point in Poco F5. the main focus is not camera.. its all about performance vs price. indeed A54 has better camera but doubled ( 2x ) slower soc and much higher price. F5 100% faster than A54 based antutu scored.that is sad for A54 buyer .

I used a Note 10 pro and it was the worst phone I used, lost the selfie and primary cameras just after an year and then loss the Bluetooth connectivity also. Never recommending this brand to anyone ever again.

Honestly xiaomi won in every category here even with Mix Fold just because its not availlable for global sale it does not means its a bad device.
Still its available for 20% of a global population at least which is China 1,8 billions of people.

The entire Poco lineup is dead or at the very least very circumspect, the Poco X3 Pro for example hasn't received an official update since november 2022, 1.5 years after release, so far for the promise of at least 2 years of support. If you can even find it on their website, you'll find that the most recent official update you can get from their own website is even older than that, from early 2022. I can only state one thing, don't buy anything from Poco and if you really want to be sure don't by anything from the entire Xiaomi brand. They do not live up to their promises and if you ask about it, they'll shut you down pronto. Sooner or later, those who stick with the brand will figure it out on their own, that is unless you don't mind buying new stuff every 1 to 2 years at the same prices as non-china-brands that do support for 2 years and often even more.

Poco did manage some amazing price points missed by the Xiaomi & Redmi series.
F5 is a solid flagship killer (barring the cam)
X5/Pro are stable mid rangers that cover most bases
M6 Pro is an amazing 5G device at that price

GSMarena I am very disappointed by you. What other phone gives the same performance as Poco F5 at that price? It's a performance-centric phone, who the heck would expect great cameras on it. The most surprising thing is that you said these same things in the F5 review and long-term review, but you are now contradicting yourself in this article. Did you intentionally do it to create controversy and more engagement?

it was top seller for midrange segment at mostly Asean country .India and China.
Far better than galaxyA54/34.
Please do research on selling figure of poco F series.

Because it seems like you don't like Xiaomi that's why you say that. Most GSMArena staff also like Samsung, making news about Galaxy S40, S50, S60 rumors, Samsung on sale prices etc.
