In some respects it is very interesting, but the scarcity of software updates and the heaviness of the smartphone (246 g!) are, for me, significant obstacles

The overall design is peak smartphone. As someone who never uses a selfie camera it's the perfect all screen device. Lack of stereo speakers is a big downside for me. Would have been a perfect media consumption device with them. The red magic 9 solves that issue but misses out on the cameras. If there was a hybrid between the two I'd have ditched my pixel for it.

Everything you do in fullscreen you either add a thick black bar to cover it (which defeats the purpose of thin bezels) or you don't and let the hole cover up content on the screen so putting it under the display, pop up, or removing the camera entirely is the way to go

just because they decided to sell it to other countries doesn't mean that it actually works. For example, they are shipping to USA, yet it's missing half of the network bands for the country, so it'll just be a terrible phone.

So, all this devices will be more or less Galaxy S24 Ultra's competitors, with maybe slightly worse cameras, but much better charging, batteries and more Ram and ROM.
And all of them are undre 1000€, which is at least 30% less than Ultra will cost, other even unde 50%.
So, with all that devices on market, I really don't see why would anybody buy those mid-range Samsung galaxy devices that are not Ultra!?
Just think that someone will be that crazy to give more money for regular s24 than any of this devices mentioned in a text above.... Or S24+ which will have start price od 1200€, and will give us Exinos SoC for double price of what this devices are giving Snapdragon 8 gen 3 for.
I expect Samsung to go down hard this year...
Apple is safe, they live in their own bubble, parallel universe if you want, but Samsung..I almost feel sorry for them.

I don't think i ever used it other than to try it out and it would also make it harder for the €hinese to $py on me since they can't use my front camera so it's a win win

Aside from the flat sides (yuck!) i'd like one mainly for the design. The boxy corners and no punch hole is just beautiful but i don't mind waiting until under display cameras become a trend (unfortunately for iPhone users, it took them 3 years to start using a punch hole so ya'll gonna be stuck with it for a while even after under display cameras become a trend lmao)

I ain't gonna get started on the back camera bump, but for a flagship phone at least 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates is a necessity, which this doesn't have...
