justasmile, 19 Dec 2023Nuh uh, the Honor 100 looked way better than this.Maybe the Pro looks better, but the regular 100 just has such a low-budget design. Like it's just two cameras on the left side of a rectangle with a three-quartered circle surrounding the cameras. It just doesn't look that appealing. Heck, it doesn't even look like it's from the same series as the 100 Pro

The Z60 Ultra looks cleaner than the Z50 Ultra. But either way, it still looks better than say....the Oppo Find X7, Honor 100, and arguably, better than the nova 12
justasmile, 19 Dec 2023I'd rather have it look generic than ugly.Well, I don't think it's ugly.. most people don't think it is.
punmeisterone, 19 Dec 2023I do honestly like it, especially the white one reminds me of Google's Project Ara from 2... moreI like it as well, but I prefer the Starry Night option!
David 040882, 19 Dec 2023It's better than its predecessor's and better than other camera bumps out thereAgree, the phone looks fantastic, great design!

DarlingYext, 19 Dec 2023It doesn't look generic like a Samsung, so it's instantly terrible, right?I do honestly like it, especially the white one reminds me of Google's Project Ara from 2014 for some reason.

Most important is that the price is cheaper than Samsung or Xiaomi?
DarlingYext, 19 Dec 2023It's a very cool feature yes, but they aren't the first ones to do it, vivo has done... moreTrue. It's just that ZTE managed to do this with a huge sensor and a big aperture as well. Almost feels like they took the S23 main camera and added the OIS (or whatever ZTE wants to say with their "three-level stabilization" thing).
Darth Caesium, 19 Dec 2023How did they add OIS to an ultrawide? That's very cool if true. It's a very cool feature yes, but they aren't the first ones to do it, vivo has done it before with the X60/X70 Pro+, and Tecno with their Camon 18 Premier, altough the latter one had to sacrifice AF.
justasmile, 19 Dec 2023Oh god, some weird alien-looking camera bump...It's better than its predecessor's and better than other camera bumps out there

"For wider shots, the Z60 Ultra packs an 18mm f/1.8 ultrawide with autofocus and 3-level optical stabilization - a unique feature of this type of lens."
What does this mean? Three-axis OIS or three layers of stabilization (OIS+EIS+Sensor Shift)?
Finally a regular non-gaming flagship with a 6000mAh battery, OIS on the ultrawide is just the cherry on top.
It is an very uggly back. They should provide black case to hide it from view.
Starry night edition looks great.
