Anonymous, 17 Dec 2023LOL. No. 1080p x 4 is 2160p (4K). 4K is 4 times of 1080p. There are two axes.FHD (1080) times 4 is 4320p, AKA 8K. QHD (1440) times 3 is 8K. 4K times 2 is 8K. Normal HD (720) times 6 is 8K.

2160p is 3840 x 2160.
Both axis X & Y (axes to be grammatically correct) are doubled, so end result is 4 times more pixels. The other guy is right.

just imagine you have a 1080p monitor. you need 4 of those to have a 4k monitor. if you only have 2 of those monitors you cant build a square. you just have a wider 1080p monitor
4k = 3840*2160 = 8,294,400
8k = 7680*4320 = 33,177,600 (which is 4 times 8,294,400 not 2 times)
