The Dimensity 9300 might be better than the Sd8g3. We need newer testing methods. A 5 second benchmark isn't enough. We need longer time spans as well. Who cares if Apple is the fastest for 1 second loads, you know? It seems that all the top chipsets today throttle severely to like 50%. Which one is faster after 1min? No one knows.
People dismiss the Kirin 9000S and match it to sd888. That's only for 1s loads. At longer time spans it's closer to the sd8g2. I shit you not. That's serious stuff. The sd8g2 is 4nm tsmc gold standard and the 9000s is 7nm who knows what. Who would have guessed they were that close in performance?
