I had my former MI11 Ultra with a eu rom, a totally beast for 7000 DK nearly half the price, nearly.

It will for sure be the one instead of my S23 Ultra. Definitely not the S24U for sure.

Global versions does not exist and 'indian' market which receive phones like china are not in account. I live in europe and xiaomi does not even have pre-sale for these phones. Why ? Because in global market, their phones always releases between February & March (except for their T versions like 13T & 13T Pro which goes off between August & September).

what I would like to see in the new Ultra's are:
- Mi 10 Ultra's graphene enhanced battery technology
- a 4k front selfie camera
- an improved version of "Air Gestures"
- Mi 11 Ultra's back screen

Tax is the only deciding factor but given by how marked up the local units are, in comparison to the imported version, I'd say it's not too bad.

Just say you're too lazy to import one 🤷♂️Devices from that region will not work with most cellular companies and bands, so even if you do import one, you'll struggle to be able to use it. Also I won't dig too deep into it, but import taxes can drive the cost up by a lot, making it ultimately not worth it.
