The 1 iii customers didn't get their android 13 update until MUCH later. Sony doesn't have a good update policy. Again it doesn't matter that much but it is smth to think about.

I bought this phone for 1200$.
It really has to be so late for Android 14, they work really poorly for a flagship

This bs os update every year is such a nonsense, even windows 10 get longer life and support, not to say basically this mobile os update just change the look and ui, one ui xx android xx with new notification tab and control panel, hyperos xx android xx with new icon, stupid, consumerism at it finest, greedy af

This isn't that bad tbh, people have just been spoiled by iphones, Samsung, and pixels. Imo any update within 3 months of the official OS launch is great

I have the Honor Magic 5 Pro. The security updates are very timely so I'm not too perturbed about the OS update speed. I think they're better than my last phone from Xiaomi in updates.

And they ask for 1200€ for phone...Here I need to agree with you...Honor/Huawei they have a really slow update policy and they're saying ,,we're constantly improving this"...How they're improving it if they're still providing Android versions to the customers after 4-6 months after the official stable release from Google?
