Remember that they are producing as many phones as they can while fending off more annoying US sanctions.

What actually matters to me about smartphones photography 🙎 :)
Colour science (photos true to live scene not paintings)
Details picking (zoomed in and out in depth)
Hauwei actually are trying in both departments, but I prefer Samsung most with Colour science and then they lack details picking (either it's over sharpening #s23ultra or loss of details #Note10+) but they did an excellent job with the Note20ultra
Apple are good with details picking in depth but they lack the accuracy of Colour science (default photography won't tell you true reality about scene looks, very decisive) it annoys me mostly but their cam editor app is one of the best I have seen that actually help uplift me in this case.
I haven't laid my hands on a Pixel but it seems they are on par with hauwei, some how with reviews they seems to be the best, maybe I should try one some day.

Big question is will they be able to get enough chips. So far the Huawei mate 60 series is still out of stock months after launch due to insufficient Kirin chips and it is likely to remain sold out for months. SMIC will need to up their production capacity a lot if they are going to meet demand. I think there is no point in a global launch when they can't meet demand in China

Come on Huawei, you can do this. Don't let those so-called "National Security Issue" getting in your way. I'll love to see you to make a comeback in Indonesia.
Also, I really love how you increases in-house made components. Really wonder how Apple and Samsung will respond. Show them who you really are.
