K70 is confirmed with 8G2, source Weibo.
Still odd since K70 Pro has conflict of interest with 14T Pro though... 8G3 and same camera as Xiaomi 14.
It's probably not gonna launch as F6 Pro, or the camera will be downgraded, or it could even be 14T Pro.

Me neither.
But it's only logical choice to use snapdragon for F6, because 8300 itself is already booked for 14T.
Therefore fitting 8300 on both would just make 14T literally F6 but with better camera, potentially killing its selling point...
Now that you mention it, since the T series selling point is camera then F will very most likely get at least 8G2 because if it's like the F4 minor camera upgrade then it would cannibalize 14T's sellability

I was referring to newer Vivo, Oppo and Honor camera bumps which just look absolutely horrible. Those are neither round nor rectangular, but weird in-between or even oval shaped with irregular camera placements in there. Xiaomi camera bumps look much for functional and regular.

But if it comes with the 8300 so what? Like I said, it appears to be as strong or stronger in GPU tasks as the SD chip. And in the end, the POCO F5 will still be available to buy.
As long as they use something made by TSMC, it will be fine.

Dimensity 9000 was way better than sd8 gen1. It even close to sd8+ gen1. But due to people mindset. You hardly see dimensity flagship. The only true flagship class launch globally was rog 6D. Other than that nothing. I do hope that more dimensity to be launched globally. Also when launching globally, companies usually price gouging the heck out of them. Look at xiaomi 13t/pro. 13t launched at 1699 MYR but price in shop (1899 MYR) nearing the price of a 24gb 1tb k60 ultra 2300 MYR(yuan conversion during launch day) and can be had for 2800MYR online retail (k60 ultra). 13T pro launched at 2600 MYR ish and can be har for 2800 MYR for the lowest spec. It does come with leica, but it’s also have the pixel engine removed. The price of 13T/pro is what i found at xiaomi store. Price increases makes it almost better to get a snapdragon chip instead of dimensity. And it cause dev to ignore optimising for dimensity based phone due to low adoption rate.

They probably will use 8 gen 2 or like F3 to F4 having the same chip, 7+ gen 2 again but with minor camera upgrade.

So POCO F6 will definitely have the Dimensity 8300. Bit of a downgrade in CPU and maybe ISP capabilities but the GPU has more raw power overall according to leaks.
If the chipset is cheaper maybe they can put a better camera this time

But this year 7 gen 3 is underwhelming so they use 8300 on the K70 and K70E, I'm doubtful if they gonna use the same SoC for F6, because said chip is booked for 14T.
And POCO F never had any mediatek either, probably 8 gen 2 or like F4, the same chip by predecessor with minor camera upgrade.
