But yeah, generally microSD is not needed anymore for most consumers, especially since now even cheap phones come with good amount of internal storage. Most people who are demanding SD card are usually pirates who have tons of pirated media, emulator, and games.

On the budget phones i also dont understand the need when there cameras are total trash so you probably dont use them much anyways.
MicroSD makes sense only on the phones that have good cameras to then film on high resolution and take these high resolution pictures that take a lot of space
