Why ... moreNo, you're wrong....my computer and my REALME GT Neo 2 are never on the same wifi network... i disabled the wifi on my router and all my devices...my Realme only use 5G and the link with my computer still work...

Kind of like a mix between KDE Connect and AirDrop but apparently better than both.

This app got useless, because you need to be on the same wifi for both your phone and PC. Why would i wanna use this if my phone is near me? apart from file transfer, there is nothing useful about it

Ouifuf, 17 Nov 2023Nope. I've used drag and drop too. I just logged into my laptop to test it Hmm I don't have it on my OnePlus. There are some other limited features like opening android apps and such for Honor and Samsung afaik. All Androids can still use some basic Phone Link features though.

I've been using phone link on my LG v60 for a year. I don't understand why those devices didn't support it - the only requirement is A11+

Edit : if these feature is only available with Android 14/ Realme UI 5, I guess I will not be eligible to these features ...

I have checked myself right now, I add I can share instantly and effortless links to my phone to my computer, I'm now checking if I can do the total opposite and send link from my conputer to my smartphone, but I'm not sure these feature has been implemented !

The whole post is incorrect, because Phone link was supported and working on these devices since the feature was launched in windows. What's new is the Phone Screen feature. Phone screen allows you to interact with all your favorite Android apps and device content directly on your PC, through a Wi-Fi connection. This feature was exclusive to certain Samsung and Honor phones until now.

And I Can Do all that since last year I think ...

Are You sure about that information ? Because my Realme GT néo 2 is powered by Realme UI 4.0 (Android 13)
Because it's depend on the country You live because I live in France in the West ...
