When prices are going to heaven, Vivo brings flagship specs for mid range price.
It would be obvious choice otherwise, getting flagship for 1/3 price, but new electronic ND filter from Samsung, As update even, is something no brand can afford.
Besides that, not every brands offer hi res raws, which I like a lot.
To choose tho, I would rather have foldable with those specs, but prices say no.
My next phone may be virtual one, as in VR emulating phone, considering what we get for those prices - that phones/folds come with - is worth less than some update.
I would rather attach a lens to VR and use it with right sw, I could emulate any phone or hw.

Sh... moreThis is not a matter of best selling Android, Apple has got more than 50% market share in Japan, Sony is still between 5-7% and according various sources Sharp's market share has decreased because of Pixel.

Samsung is A3x/A5x series.
Oppo A series (in Taiwan).

The phone doesn't do what normal global roms do and open messaging apps on phone startup, or check for messages. So you have to set each individual app to high power background usage, allow it to start on phone boot up. Then give it notification permissions. Bit of a pain but I don't get notifications from Groupon anymore. Also with all the chinese apps, you have to use adb and a computer to delete certain chinese apps, not all can be uninstalled on the phone. Trading shenzhen has a video showing how it can be done. But still a pain in the backside to just start using a phone. It's all worth it if camera quality is what you're prioritizing though

The next Honor Magic 6 Pro, in addition to mounting the latest SD chipset, will have an OV50K sensor and will be the first in the world to have it.
This would make the OV50K the only 1-inch smartphone sensor after the popular and now obsolete Sony IMX989, which is the one on this Vivo phone.

I believe they FINALLY fixed it (after I got rid of my Vivo of course) but there was a problem with receiving ANY notifications whenever dark mode was enabled... Personally on all my phones I set up dark mode to enable itself automatically after sunset, so yea, I would not receive any notifications on my Vivo after sunset lol. The only fix was to use normal light mode 24/7.
