Most likely this will keep happening with next years model and the year after too.

    but why is this a problem? I also said that the 8 Gen 2 is also quite overkill for foldables.

        You need to design even new motherboard.
        No brand is gonna burn money on this move nor even gonna delay whole schedule just because of the SoC.
        Development does not happen in 3-4 months.

        Example: Vivo has announced X100 series, be sure they already work on X110 .
