If in the same price you can get same year iPhone, Samsung or Sony ? Sorry no.
Yeah I would definitely buy it if it was global. I prefer the 14 pro though. The screen is curved but it's so slight that it looks flat and I also prefer big phones
Xiaomi has -almost- returned to its price/performance glory days with this duo. I'm currently just waiting for OnePlus 12 to see if it's going to be significantly better or not (probably for a higher price); so I can upgrade from my current K20 Pro. I also guess Xiaomi 14 will be an even better option for a limited budget. The Pro model is not "that" much better, at least on the sheet. Nevertheless, I don't think any other upcoming flagship is going to beat this price/performance ratio soon...
What date will it be released globally?
Like the regular Xiaomi 14 but I think the pro is not that impressive at all. They cheaped out a bit on the rear cameras for the pro model. The upcoming Vivo x100 pro will come with significantly superior rear camera hardware in a couple of weeks time and there will be plenty of competition. I think the Xiaomi 14 though has little competition in terms of its size in China at least. The competition from vivo/Iqoo, and Oneplus will all be good but all of them will be much larger phones
Bodygard, 05 Nov 2023At the China prices maybe i'd buy it but EU prices probably over €1000? nahGet Xiaomi 13T Pro instead.

Would maybe consider the vanilla Xiaomi flagship when they are at most the same size as the vanilla flagship phones from the two major brands.
When is going to launch in MY? Slow .....

justasmile, 05 Nov 202314 Seems like a good option, but let's see the software. 14 Pro? Nah. Not a fan of crap ... moreI'd barely even call the Xiaomi 14 Pro's display curved, while it technically is, it doesn't fall off the edges, like pretty much every other curved display. It seems slightly less curved than even the S23 Ultra, which was already very subtle.
There's a quote in tech world "Once a Apple user always a apple user" I would like to rephrase this quote "Once a Xiaomi user and will never be a Xiaomi user". Therefore no matter what Xiaomi brings in his smartphone I will never use a Xiaomi device again in my life.
the xiaomi 14 looks like a really solid phone, i really hope they updated the front camera cause it was really bad and the video recording was mid on the xiaomi 13
