I would never spend money on a gigantic camera hump with a screen attached to it.
Chinese brands are mostly putting those near centimetre thick humps on, covering half the phone, to fraudulently post an "amazing" thinness measured on the bottom half.

Even i am tempted to say yes have to keep my Motorola edge 40 pro until July 2025. Then my current phone will be paid and i will be able to buy new phone on cointract.

Not mad on the design though. The curve screen and flat sides don't feel good in hand compared to the Mate 60 pro for example. They may as well have given a flat screen when using flat edges in the frame

As we have posted and seen numerous times, Xiaomi smartphones are very expensive outside of China/Asia.
As i have posted on another article, Xiaomi 14 pro in China starts at 650$.
In Europe the Xiaomi 13pro started at 1300euro, almost 1400$.

Given what's already out there, I doubt cameras will significantly improve this year other than including AI sh**. Oh and I'm looking forward to seeing the One Plus 12
