At this point i'd stop comparing phones with google services with anything, since, from what i've noticed, google services use about 30% of a smartphones resources, unlike 8 years ago, when watchdog was still present. An android phone with google services today is like an iPhone used to be when Apple was applying throttling to reduce a phones inability to keep a charge (or so they say).
Honestly i've daily used 4 android phones over the past 11 years and 1(nokia 7 plus) of them was a mistake (hope HMD goes bankrupt), 1(i9300) of them met the ground do to anger issues, 1 (redmi note 3 pro) met a final drop that shouldn't have caused that much damage (finally gave up the joint) and the last one (poco f1) is still being used today with a damaged main speaker connection, but a working 5ah asus cell.
All of the phones were snappy, and only the F1 feels sluggish at times and that is because google services have too many runing services.

Android were betting that future devices will got faster in short period of time. Thus having a "good" foundation, sacrificing screen smoothness.

I just wanted to ask, which are the oldest iphones that still work normally on modern ios? I believe, it is 11th series at maximum. From 4 years ago.
But that is also true, mostly, for android: 4 years old phones work fine, even the older ones mostly.
The point is androids do recieve new os versions 2-3 years, not any longer. While apple grants 5.
Just for information, we have also a Galaxy 6 in family, it still runs very nice, photos and videos are superb, but it got upgrade only to android 6, not any more.

But that's "by design" (i.e. as if we're comparing MIUI animations to stock android) - on the long run Apple stays the same while Androids don't because apps/system getting more feature packed and what not.. So at the beginning Androids might be winning solely because of the native execution speed but as I said - the more time passes the flaws of weak ST show

AnTuTu isn't. My Linux build beats both my Windows and Hackintosh builds so I reassure you there's zero bias there too so it's not just mobile.

Or how else would you explain that a 8-core M1 Pro has the same MT as a 28-core Xeon? 😂 because in every other test the 28 core Xeon stomps the M1 Pro 😂 It's ridiculous that people still use (this) benchmarks to argue about performance..
