They are making you pay for storage so you can upload photos they’ll use to boost their algorithm and AI. Talking about sheeps…

Who also used to be the same people who insisted that 64gb of iPhone storage was ok and who probably bought the 8gb iPhone 4 too.
Never mind that Bill Gates also had the backwards mindset decades ago how 1Gb of Gmail storage was overkill.
Wow capitalist companies trying to force you into buying more cloud storage meanwhile not providing an SD card slot, what kind of a dystopia do we live in?!

I'm very unhappy with the choice of Samsung to ditch the MicroSD slot on S23 Ultra, I have several 256/512 Gb microSD cards (Samsung Pro Ultimate, 200 Mb/s Read speed, 130 Mb/s Write speed), it's not UFS but for keeping some data (And hey, having kinda a USB stick in your phone, no more loss of USB stick 🙊) or even for transferring large files, it's more than okay, it's better than USB 2.0 speed not long ago and far more convenient.
It's purely for money purpose and to impose more and more cloud, not even mentionning the fee. What about when you don't have high speed internet or wifi at range to have your data (music, pictures, videos etc), it's also more ecological since it's using less power (not need for data/wifi) and it's better when the storage is full, you still can expand somehow. No need to purchase a new phone or delete data.
Had to purchase a USB SSD (T7 Shield) to do the same thing that my Note10+ did perfectly.
I really wish that somehow, EU or some regulator could force them to bring back expansion slot. It's affordable, practical, more ecological (greenwashing hello 😬) and convenient!
But perhaps they prefer that we send all the data @ Google/Apple/Meta/Microsoft/Amazon thus creating large amount of data, best of it if that the cloud is not free nor cheap in the long term 😥

"That's not ideal if you take a lot of pictures in RAW since RAW files are larger than JPEG and could fill up your Google One storage quickly. Not to mention, it will also consume more data for upload."
This is why SD card slot are still a necessity. no wonder why i see complains about it.
