crapple: "You're charging it wrong!"
Anonymous, 04 Oct 2023Stop defending this crap lmao.I'm not defending BMW.?
Feem, 03 Oct 2023There’s a reason why Apple is somehow the highest valued tech company and highest valued phone... moreYou'd think something as serious as ip4 batterygate or ip6 throttlegate would be enough to make people stop using them but lol no, they didn't. Even Steve Jobs had multiple units of the OG iphone so his presentation will not be interrupted when one unit overheats and hangs up.
Anonymous, 03 Oct 2023The question is not why it happens in BMWs but why it happens only with iPhones.Question? That's the problem, and you can't change it. BMW has problems with the new phone. Not the phones fault.
Anonymous, 03 Oct 2023if this true, will bosch take responsibility ? the things is the problem happen with iphone15... moreI mean if it only happens to the iPhone it sounds like an apple problem and not a general problem. In that case Apple would need to take responsibility (assuming the chargers weren't defect).
kevinmcmurtrie, 03 Oct 2023It's more likely a Bosch charger so it's probably widespread.
I'm honestly sur... moreif this true, will bosch take responsibility ?
the things is the problem happen with iphone15, not with other phones(at least there no report whatsoever)
otherwise bosch or whoever make the charger should already respond or even probably fix their product
so rather coincidental bad-luck streak with iphone15 or its caused by iphone15 changing the wireless-coil, we have yet to wait for more information regarding the matter
but i dont think whoever make wireless charger will take responsbility for the problem, as long no massive problem aside from one specific phone model/lineup
in such case, the best they will do is just make announcement notice, not to use the charger with those specific phones
UltraHD, 03 Oct 2023What the f did they do with these phones to act this way... A trillion dollar company with mul... moreThere’s a reason why Apple is somehow the highest valued tech company and highest valued phone maker despite the world mostly using android….
Apple is fooling EVERYONE
It's more likely a Bosch charger so it's probably widespread.
I'm honestly surprised that it took so long for this to happen. Wireless chargers put out 2.5 VAC per turn of conductor. That's a lot. Anything that conducts power in a circle gets that power. There's a special circuit in the charger that's to guess if it's cooking some random piece of metal (coin, foil) that's in the way and shut down. Then there's the next problem of inductive coupling. Once you put power into an inductor, it must always come back out one way or another - EM radiation, electric arcing, circuit destruction, whatever. If the phone cuts its load before the charger cuts its output, there's extra power to go somewhere.
Hopefully it's caught by a snubber circuit that turns excess EM power into heat. If not, there's always the battery packaging, RF shielding, and NFC antenna to take the hit.
Don't worry guys, Apple will blame this on BMW.
What a failure of a phone lmao
Anonymous, 03 Oct 2023The question is not why it happens in BMWs but why it happens only with iPhones. It's not only with iPhone is only with iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max
Zendroid, 03 Oct 2023Sure. After you explain why it only happens in BMW and no other cars.? The question is not why it happens in BMWs but why it happens only with iPhones.
Anonymous, 03 Oct 2023This is a very narrow and immature perception to have.Nah, it's just the truth. But hard for some people to accept.
Anonymous, 03 Oct 2023Previous gen Iphones working just fine in BMW. Care to explain why?Sure. After you explain why it only happens in BMW and no other cars.?
Why indian nationalists coming everywhere on the internet? This is for discussing phones not for Indian nationalism lol
Well and people said Nokia XR21 is a garbage for 700. This thing cost at least 1500 and is dead even before you open the retail box with so many bugs, problems, errors and mistakes.
People are blaming india instead blaming apple lol 👇
