Mi Xiaomi Mi 9T cost 300 € and still works amazingly well.
That was great value for money.
Alex 94, 04 Oct 2023In which country 13T have that price?Malaysia
In the UK the 12/512 version is £699 but there is a £20 coupon reducing it to £679. It also includes a coupon for a FREE Xiaomi Pad 6 worth £369 so it must one of the best bargains around.

Some USB pins are re-allocated for charge...
That's why :
- Xiaomi 13 Pro has 120W fast charge but USB2.0
- and more expensive 13 Ultra has only slower 90W and USB3.2
hmm, 01 Oct 2023i bet the 13T have way way better camera to film that 4K 60fs then Poco F1 have that is build ... moreMy F1 still takes very good pictures and videos, lasted about 4.5 years and still working fine. Let me know after a few years (or months) down the line how your F5 gives you motherboard issues and many more.
It's a shame neither phone has USB3 with wired video output support. It would make a compelling alternative for the affordable flagship segment.

On par with 23 plus i have both. Lol...
Then try A34 with Dimensity 1080 (7050) you will probably not see any difference too!
If you don't care about numbers, this is how it works.
On most tasks, A34 is even snappier!
Plus despite a bigger 1000nits 6.6" screen compare to 6.4" on A54 and the same 5000mAh battery, A34 has a better battery life!
Everybody knows Samsung's 5nm process used on Exynos 1380 can't even match TSMC's 7nm process...
Dimensity 1080 uses TSMC's 6nm which is even slighly better.

Camera is also very good only if you gonna do games buy a s23 ultra. Don't forget this is a midrange device for the money this is the best phone.

Not due to the soc itself, as it is plenty powerful for my use, actually had to look up the specs before posting - which says a lot to me about how irrelevant it has become as phones from 400 EUR and up typically as plenty powerful for most people.
Age and desire for type 1 main camera and hopefully a flat screen of +/- 6.8" is what makes me long for a new phone a little bit.
This has already been the longest I have had a phone as my main one ever. Which of course is very good. Got my first phone afew years back (1999) and I'm happy to see phones are getting to the point where changing them out every 1-2, or even three, years is no longer "necessary".
Not for me. I still have my 8+gen1 smartphone and I don't intend to buy new one after 2 more years.

Guys still waiting for your Xiaomi 13T / Pro review pleaseeee... I'm thinking how it will compare to the older Xiaomi 12 series.. performance wise, camera wise. Thx
No headphone jack - instant pass, regardless of the rest.
If a phone has headphone jack, OIS, decent camera, good screen, high refresh rate and acceptable price, it's a candidate. The only thing my A52s lacks is a decent telephoto camera with OIS. I'll consider upgrading when the new device has it all and more. In other words, I'll consider a new device when it is an upgrade, not a replacement that costs more and lacks in features.
To sum it up: Price is not a deal-breaker, it's a turn-off. I can live with an expensive device as long as I know what I paid for (when everything else is fantastic).
This is my position. Yours may be different, and that's fine.
Alex 94, 01 Oct 2023A34 is 250€, u forgot that. You missed my point completely about weight. Potato complained about the 13T being overweight so i used A34 as proof there are smaller phones being heavier.
About prices, A34 starts at €321 in my country. Against 13T that starts at €361, its a no brainer which is a better buy. Seems like my fellow countrymen also agree with the 13T being almost sold out now.
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2023Had the same experience with a Redmi Note 8.I still have my Note 8 and it got 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates till 2022. The security updates from quarterly to biannually in the 3rd year but still matched or even better than same price segment 2019 phones from Vivo and Oppo that got 1 OS update.
