I ignore tech youtuber that has so many drama (example: don't buy this, this is bad, or such negative clickbait on their title) or only stay one side and review or say bad to another.

Which is usually what android is criticized for chasing unpolished bleeding edge technology

" Exactly what happened. TSMC didn't have good enough 3nm chip yields so they had to lower their efficiency standards to accept more A17 Pro dies which would've otherwise been tossed away into the trash. So Apple lowers the efficiency goal across the board which led to chips that weren't much more powerful than before.
Because of that, Apple pushed the watts as high as they could in order to still show a decent improvement in benchmarks for marketing.
However, the high peak power usage is leading to lower battery life than we expected on 3nm. It's also leading to more thermal throttling than we expected."

Pixel 6 Pro user here. I've got a 15 PM scheduled for delivery tomorrow, and will be scrutinising this phone as I did the Pixel. It's my first Apple phone for 10 years, but I'm open minded as regards to iOS vs Android, as they basically do the same thing. I'll make up my own mind as I always do.

Look up the iPhone 12, 13, 14 and you'll find similar complaints. These complaints are certainly not disproportionate to the amount of iPhones sold, compared to the Pixels, which are niche phones but have a significantly higher % of QC issues.

Even Phone Are... moreWell I got a 15 Pro Max in my hand right now as it happens, so I tell you what, I’ll not bother listening to the ‘biased’ people and decide for myself. I got two weeks to return this thing, so if it happens to start acting like a miniature oven you can bet it’s going straight back.
Right now all I can say is I am seeing some increased battery drain, but then such isn’t uncommon in new devices after initial set up…..
