What I don't know is, what do the phones stand for? Because they're neither cheap flagships, nor are they expensive midrangers.
S10 FE stood for inferior camera and sound quality.
S20 FE did a shift to Snapdragon 865, while rest of S20 series had Enynos, but why? No idea. It sells well though.
S21 FE goes back to Exynos.
S22 FE doesn't exist and S23 FE makes a comeback.
Plus, each one of these is a heavy, bigger version of their flagship series, with similar or inferior hardware.
Price saving (over regular series) was sometimes more, other times its a meagre $80-100.
And I still don't know why its named "Fan Edition". Which of the above characteristics are fan focused anyways?

Since iOS 17 is showing no signs of allowing side loading, I plan on upgrading to S23 FE but only if It has Dex capability. A shame they didn't add it to the A54 :(
