It doesn't need to be more than 2mpix when you can zoom a 1mm salt crystal with phone at distance of around 6cm to fill a full hd TV screen

19.5:9 aspect ratio and I would gladly buy this phone. Why must all phones by so tall and narrow. I understand that's good for view social media sites but it's not suited for work where a wider screen is much better.

Xiaomi, Vivo, etc were forced to buy made in Indonesia components.
If the components factory jack up the price, xiaomi, vivo, etc won't be able to build the "cheap" phone. Because xiaomi, vivo, etc can't import cheaper (but the same) components.
The higher the price, the bigger of profit for brand owner, the less problem in TKDN.

And FYI, the minimum wage (where most people paid on) on the biggest city were on par with the single chinese Android midranger. That's on the biggest city. The lowest minimum wage is just half of that. So iPhone is out of question for most people here.
