So excited to read the review and comparison with Xiaomi 2 pro. My wife has gt4 and the only issue she has so far is that all-day calendar events from Google are incorrectly showing as 2-day events on the watch ..

Wish to upgrade from my Huawei Watch GT2 Pro, but this GT4 doesn't have sapphire in the display, and that's a big difference. I'm using my Watch for abou a year, without a single scratch in the display. Sapphire is really good

SShock, 24 Sep 2023I don't know why AOD is still such a taboo and people love to wear bland blank watch face... moreMy thoughts exactly, AOD should be factored in when OEMs are working on standby time and efficiency prowess of any smartwatch or band.Raising the wrist ev'rything hurts my arm.I'm disappointed in Samsung's watch battery runtime compared to the leading Huawei smartwatches and bands.

Nice looking watch. About battery life - I fully agree with comment that many watch makers give little emphasis to AOD. Apple Watches' market share clearly shows that watch wears prefer a vivid AOD that looks like a conventional watch without having to raise wrist - even with the inconvenience of an 18 hour battery charge life. With only a few exceptions, most AOD's display only a primative time without other complications or even dial markings. No wonder some watches' last longer between charges. Also many great looking watches have limited complications that are interactive. Who needs another 50 sport profiles when the presentative of the time is so limited.

I don't know why AOD is still such a taboo and people love to wear bland blank watch faces on their wrists. I think it looks absolutely terrible with a blank watch and I'd rather charge it every single day than have it blank. As I had with Apple Watch 5 which still has the best AOD of all watches I've seen. My current Galaxy Watch 4 is also pretty good and some watch faces look amazing with AOD (others not so much).
Maybe I feel this way much stronger since I love my classic mechanical/quartz watches and they always being in motion just makes me dislike static or even blank displays on smartwatches.
