It's not wrong to add more but at least make it work properly. Powerful hardware but come with crappy software.

hmm, 21 Sep 2023I would think the ram issue is more of the Android issue and not the skin issue that is on top... moreOh it definitely is a MIUI issue, believe me. Or don't, just Google it up. MIUI has always been known for their infamous RAM management due to an overly aggressive task killer.

you have to suffer, 21 Sep 2023be careful of using extended ram as it'll degrade the performance even more. i'm rea... moreI tried it last week by adding 1GB.. Due to a Facebook bug that takes up a lot of RAM which makes my phone very laggy and there is no lag after adding it.
But I turned it off again after updating the August patch a few days ago and there's no more of that problem.

1,899rmb for the Redmi note 13 pro+ for 12gb 256gb. That's pretty good for the price. Much better and cheaper than the Redmi note 12 pro+. 400rmb less which is great. The Redmi note 13 pro is also 400rmb cheaper than the Redmi note 12 pro was on launch. Good stuff

MicroSD and 3.5mm jack seems to be now only a budget phone segment feature as you dont much see them even on middle class anymore

After a restart with memory cleaned and no apps running mine will occupy around 4.5gb, with around 2.7gb free. Total ram seems to be 7167mb according to 2 third party apps (officially it's listed as 8gb)

Also it's probably a issue with apps too as the people who make these apps are lazy. But who can blame them when phone makers are setting in phones these 12/16/24GB RAM

They first release the note 13 pro and pro+ then just note 13 later and then more later come more of the models like that and in the end just redmi series 13 as we still get series 12 now with that

There are also themes and wallpapers for free. Never mind that internet is full of pictures you can set them as wallpaper.
These themes remind me of a music player app called WinAmp that had a lot of skins that users made.
You can also make your own theme and place it in that themes shop for sale and earn some money with it. That is only if you make a popular theme that is when you actually earn anything

Yeah it have got more expensive but still there is no better phone to get from any other brand for budget to middle class phones.
Redmi Note pro is basically series that is competition to Samsung A5x while just Redmi note is for A3x series competition by price only. But still these give you a lot more for your money.
Samsung just give you long term updates while cut the cost to make there phone in every way possible. Like remove charger fom the box and so on. You get also less bezels with the Xiaomi phones compare to Samsung. Performance wise they are probably close but you still get a lot more from these phones.
And i cant compare to other brands like these Oneplus that is more expensive and then Realme that is limited to markets as it is not available everywhere in Europe.
