Apple is relying a lot on Samsung displays because only Samsung displays that "acts normally" compared to displays from BOE. Ofc Apple could just move entirely to BOE, but since Apple is more concerned about quality over quantity, with BOE panel quality still not as good as Samsung's, I don't think they will do it for now.

Big, heavy, thick bezel, small screen.
People, if you’re interested in a Samsung phone in this price range, grab the S21FE or even the original S22 while you still can. Once this is released, you can bet Samsung starts stopping sales of those older but better/cheaper models so consumers will be stuck with this crappy ODM job.

I just realized, the phone render shown here is in a blue color.
The official image we saw a while back only showed black, white, purple and mint.
My guess is that this might be an online exclusive color? Similar to what they've been doing with the standard S phones for a while now.

General assumption is 10% of buyers give reviews of product they purchase so the numbers speak for themselves
Moreover S21 fe was 15th most selling model in Q1 of 2023

Samsung instantly destroyed this name the next year or two with the S21FE. Since then, it's a downward spiral.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2023wake me up if they manage to get the gpu running at the original clock and not the current 0.5... moreif you programmatically add dlss there will be at least some sense in such phones in 2023, because due to the weak processor performance there will not be wow a lot of FPS, but it will be an increase towards the downside if there is an increase of 15-20 frames +
