Kaundinya, 11 Sep 2023Mediatek processors are waste because it produces heat and battery drains a lot . 😒 expecting... moreThe Snapdragon 7 gen 1 is catastrophic: it heats up, it consumes a lot (because of its manufacture by Samsung). The Dimensity 7200 offers one of the best performance, all smartphones with Dimensity 7200 have very good autonomy with medium capacity batteries.
Kaundinya, 11 Sep 2023Mediatek processors are waste because it produces heat and battery drains a lot . 😒 expecting... moreDear right now mediatek is more efficient than snapdragon because of its tsmc collaboration. I know snapdragon has tsmc collaboration, but it happen only last year, where snapdragon 8+ gen 1 became more efficient.

Folk, Go and make your own chip,
Iepuroiul, 11 Sep 2023I know it s not fair comparison but d 8100 ultra keeps my phone cooler and running longer rhan... moreMore power = more heat: Simple deduction
Better heat management = less heat: Of course
So, if your phone has better heat management and lesser power than the two chips you mentioned. Of course it can keep itself cool. Cool enough to hold until you torment it.
Kaundinya, 11 Sep 2023Mediatek processors are waste because it produces heat and battery drains a lot . 😒 expecting... moreI guess you don't have recent mediatek chipset. That inefficient and overheating mediatek was long gone.
Xiaomi, this time atleast change front camera sensor to 32 mp or 50 mp like infinix zero 30.
MediaTek's chips are great now. There haven't been any overheating, power hungry releases like there have been from Qualcomm.
Does MediaTek use TMC?
As for the RN13P+, it'll probably be a 7" brick. I noticed Huawei's latest models are 6.8". It's like holding a Nexus 7 to your ear. And people thought the Samsung Notes were big when they were first released.

LosEstupido, 11 Sep 2023"the SD7 Gen 1 that run awkwardly bad."
What can you expect from an SoC that uses... moreIts bad because of Cortex A710 cores, plenty of Samsung midrange soc like E1380, E1330 are doing fine with better efficient than same class Cpu. Just check Comparison of E1380 and Sd 778G in this site.
I think the main problem with the Redmi Note Series in China for the last few generations is that they release 2 series a year, one focused on camera hardware with a much better main camera sensor and one focused on performance with a much better processor but with a much weaker main camera sensor (e.g. this year we had the Redmi note 12 pro and note 12pro+ with better camera hardwares and the Redmi note 12 Turbo six months later with weak camera hardware but a better chip). In reality though the models with the better camera sensors (imx766 and HPX in the 12 pro and 12 pro +) are a bit wasted as they don't even offer video stabilisation are 4k 30 fps and poor EIS at 1080p 60 so you are limited to 1080p 30fps. Meanwhile the note 12 turbo has EIS at 4k 30fps so at least you get stabilised video at 4k. Despite the weaker camera sensor the end result is not really much worse if any worse. This year my home for the more camera focused model would be that they optimise the cameras better especially for video. That's all they really need to improve as the Note 12 pro and pro+ were pretty good apart from cameras. They'll also upgrade to a 1.5k screen I think as screens have become incredibly cheap. A 1.5k oled is now cheaper than the LCDs they were using on some of the note series a couple of years ago. If they can't improve the camera optimisation then I think it makes more sense to get the note 12 turbo series or maybe wait 6 months for the next turbo series as the better ISP and better video usually makes up somewhat for the weaker sensor. They really need to offer stabilised 4k30fps video to be competetive
Anders, 11 Sep 2023So Xiaomi officially no longer want the Redmi Note series to be competitive or powerful. 15 mo... moreIf you want high performance, buy the Turbo version, but globally it will be the Poco F series. Pro+ will focus on the camera, fast charging.
So Xiaomi officially no longer want the Redmi Note series to be competitive or powerful. 15 months ago they used the much better Dimensity 8100 in the $350 Poco X4 GT. But here they are using the much weaker Dimensity 7200 in what will probably be a $450 phone.
Yeah, I complain about phones these days a lot. That's because 99% of them are garbage. Phones peaked like 2 or 3 years ago
LosEstupido, 11 Sep 2023"the SD7 Gen 1 that run awkwardly bad." What can you expect from an SoC that uses... moreIt was supposed to replace the SD778 that D7200 almost beats. Yet SD7 G1 performed so bad it rarely used and the old 778 prevails for perhaps longer than it should be.

What can you expect from an SoC that uses Samsung's Fab.
CasualPerson, 11 Sep 2023and with this information, I expect the Redmi Note 13 Pro to pack a D7050, there's no way... more300 Dollar** Damnit.
