Given this will be around $330 a few months after launch (like the 12 Pro+ is right now) it will be a great deal. This is the first SoC offering decent ARMv9 cores and TSMC 4nm process for the low midrange segment.
Still, hard to justify when the F5 is around $380 and offers unparalleled performance in this segment. But I gladly take the Dimensity 7200 over the 1080, that's an improvement.
Anders, 11 Sep 2023So Xiaomi officially no longer want the Redmi Note series to be competitive or powerful. 15 mo... moreWhat are u talking about dude? Poco XX GT series only use LCD screen instead of OLED. That's why it is cheap. It also still has big bottom bezel. It also make it cheaper on look.
should have used Dimensity 8100 which is faster and made on the cheaper 5nm node, yet still extremely efficient.
Non expandable storage = cheap phone with less use cases than an old Nokia.
hmm, 11 Sep 2023You need to compare Note 13+ with the note 12 series and see if it's improvement from the... moreThe Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is €450 so the 13 Pro+ is going to cost at least that. As I said, Xiaomi put the much better Dimensity 8100 in the €350 and that was 15 months ago. So they should be using at least the dimensity 8100 in this €450 phone
JayRoar, 11 Sep 2023I like my d8100 device, but my 8gen2 phone is better when it comes to battery life. WeirdMaybe the screen has a LOT of do?
If the D8100 is LCD is obvious that will last less than a AMOLED ones.
Capt. Cake, 11 Sep 2023It's like some people are still leaving in the pastMediaTek dosn't provide full kernel sources ... that's why a lot of developers and users avoid this compagny !
it seems you don't understand the difference between post-processing and processor ... they are not the same thing :
in photography, post-processing is an algorithm and not related to the chipset power ... there are less powerful processor with incredible post processing (remember old google pixels and old xiaomi and samssung devices with better quality than current devices)
jerem06, 11 Sep 2023I don't see any difference between the specs of the 7200 and 7200 ultraConsider it as high base clock speed version. Nothing extraordinary.
Invetor, 11 Sep 2023If this costs more than $400, it should have dimensity 8100 or better SoC.Phone will cost 500 dollars i am sure

Nexus 7 also have lots of bezels that made it large when there is enough space to have like 9inch screen in it

Also i dont think it's price would go over 400 euro as it think it wont be even 350 euro.
Also Redmi Note series is middle class phone so to hope it have flagship performance is a bit too much wanted
You basically cant hope they have Redmi note series as Xiaomi 12T only year after it's release
