Coming back to this article in 2024, it'll be officially announced for the Malaysia region in early January. Ironically, Honor Malaysia will have a separate event to announce the official pricing of this foldable phone. That still puzzles me why they don't do it on the announcement day itself*.

It wasnt launched, it was advertised
A concept and V2 which is fabricated in very limited numbers for China use only.
By the time it arrives in Europe, next year, it will be absolete vs the gen 3 competition.
Its battery advantage will be vapored by the gen 3 battery efficiency. And its thickness that now is presented as smth wonderful will have to compete the next gen foldables who will be just 3 months away after its arrival.
Such a shame, I would have bought it yesterday...

This is not the 1st foldable from Honor that is available globally. The Magic V also had a global release in Europe for €1,599.

This means there still wont Be anyone competing with Samsung globally, depending on The time they released this and OnePlus. Vs launhed 6 months later in EU and that was too close to next generation. I would buy this instantly if it was available within a months. 6 months from here is too late

Positive sign. Perhaps this'll persuade some of the other manufacturers to commit to a global release. Though I suspect they'll wait to see how many Honour manage to sell outside China
