I think all flagship phone should be 6.8inch. And make it as fat as the ROG 6 series. then the consumer will be happy.

For the first 3 even a ultra low budget SoC like Unisoc will do the job, and it makes little difference compared to the latest Snapdragon. For the last item... better cameras are the only thing that most consumers both care about and can notice the difference.

A "stacked" bump design like the one you see on the iPhone would make it look thinner and arguably less over-the-top, although I'm actually interested in seeing a ridiculously big bump just for the sake of it, too.

Sounds great combination of camera and Phone.
I only hope they will be smart enough to add an SD card slot, for those that really love to take a lot of photos and videos (the ones that would really want that camera phone)

They are using a 1g+6p lens in the z50s pro and for the dispersion coefficient they are advertising an abbe number of 81.6, which they claim is even higher than commonly used digital camera lenses. In reality I don't know how much difference it makes but they are definitely focusing heavily on lenses in their flagship series phones

I'll tell you that not just sensor quality that's important but also lens quality. It's one reason why the RX 100 series has great picture quality with only a one inch sensor. Maybe next innovation should be fitting good lens on small footprint.

They only make 1 part bigger and the rest slim. They don't need to increase size to the whole thing it's a waste of material, time, money and so on and would just destroy the phones look and light weight it had.

So bizarre and insane.
It definitely makes sense that camera manufacturers are now focusing on superzoom capability for their premium compact camera lineups, or have entirely stopped producing any compact cameras at all - With phones' main cameras growing larger and accompanied by more capable auxiliary cameras to capture a wider range of FoV, it was only a matter of time before they would catch up to dedicated fixed prime lens cameras in terms of the sheer image quality, while beating them from the versatility perspective.

Do you think zte can make 35mm that is just 3-4mm? Keep dreaming.
Gonna say next it's possible to make 600mm FF lens as short as a 24-70? 😂

2) much thicker phone
Both are bad, but no other exist. 35mm will be thicker than mi13 ultra , a lot.
It will not be any different from the prototype.
